| Melissa has been an artist for as long as she can remember. Growing up, she drew on, painted or sculpted everything she could get her hands on. As an adult, that hasn't changed. Melissa is mostly self-taught and has a background in graphic design. Her work has been described as unexpected, humorous and fun. Many of her images come from dreams and occasionally there is an unspoken question painted into the canvas. Melissa resides in Spokane, WA with her husband (musician Michael Carpenter) and their youngest daughter. |
